Ok. So, you want to learn how to be anonymous and keep your information private.
First, I strongly recommend keeping anything darknet-related compartmentalized and completely separate from the workspace you regularly use for work/school/leisure browsing.
What I want to prevent you from doing is opening a new tab while you are working or doing homework and Googling “best tor websites” or “how can I buy ____ online anonymously.” I can’t believe I have to say this, but this is a huge RED FLAG. So, do yourself a favor and do your Googling on DuckDuckGo through the Tor Browser.
This also applies to your questionable Reddit searches. Reddit clearly states in its privacy policy that they are actively selling your data “for advertising purposes.” So typing “how to hack” in their search bar is not doing you any favors.
Reddit also participates in cross-domain tracking. This means they could link your different online identities across different websites (Facebook account, etc,) and eventually get your real name.
My goal is to teach you actionable tactics you can use every day so that nobody knows you are even aware that tor browser exist.
So, please read the following chapters carefully.
About Video Tutorials
Obviously, you may have seen the casual “dark web surfing” clickbait video on YouTube. While most of these videos are junk, some may actually teach you a thing or two. Regardless, you should stay away from going on YouTube for these types of tutorials. Here’s why:
- You compromise your privacy when watching them because Youtube knows that you are interested in darknet activities.
- They also miss a lot of crucial aspects that you need to know when performing transactions.
- They are not cross-checked by many community members like this guide but just produced by one single person and then published.
Basically, just stick to this guide and if you have any questions just leave feedback below and one of our team members will answer you promptly.
